This chair came from the Henderson family, who acquired it new from a Vancouver dealer in 1962. Original owner throughout.

Reupholstered once in matching aniline leather in 1994 by a local shop; the shell, base, and shock mounts are untouched. The Herman Miller medallion and date stamp are both present under the seat.

Light scuffing on the aluminium base and a single 4 cm mark on the rear shell are the only visible wear. No cracks, no delamination.
